Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav is a higher educational institution of Ukraine, which is based on the centuries-old traditions of educational development in the region. It is a modern innovative educational and research centre that meets the best standards of national higher education.
The university systematically updates its material and technical, educational and laboratory facilities, applies modern technologies, and forms a powerful scientific and methodological support for the educational process.
As of December 01, 2023, 6 876 students, 246 postgraduate students and 11 doctoral students are enrolled here. The teaching staff of the institution currently includes 337 people, in particular 60 doctors of sciences and professors, 216 candidates of sciences, associate professors.

In the Unirank ranking, the university ranks 82nd out of 194 Ukrainian higher education institutions.
In 2023, in the academic ranking “Top-200 Ukraine 2023” with the participation of an international group of experts IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (formed by a set of performance indicators, quality of scientific and pedagogical potential, quality of education and international recognition) among the 200 best universities in Ukraine, our higher education institution took 136th place.
In 2023, Hryhorii Skovoroda University of Pereiaslav was ranked 156th in the annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the Scopus scientometric database.
